Our unique and premier Learn to Survive and Swim program is taught inside the Indoor heated pool at the Pingry School. This facility features changing rooms, deck viewing areas, and ample parking.

It is the perfect destination for:

Your little one (3 months and over) or inquisitive one who wants to learn to survive (Survivals levels)
Your adventurous one who can survive but needs to learn the strokes (Stroke levels)
Your little shark who would love to perfect their strokes (Stroke levels)

What’s so special about British Swim School?

British Swim School Water – Safety Lessons and Stroke lessons for students of ANY AGE. We start as early as 3 months and also teach adults.
No one has more expertise. Our lessons are based on 40 YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE. Every child is different, and our program is uniquely designed to help any student no matter the age or ability (including special needs).
British Swim School instructors are amazingly FRIENDLY and have been HIGHLY TRAINED in how to teach children swimming skills.
British Swim School lessons are GOAL ORIENTED to accomplish the fastest progress for any student. Master your 5 goals, and you will graduate to the next level.
British Swim School students graduate and advance INDIVIDUALLY, no student is held back or pressured by the progress of the group.
British Swim School – teaches WITHOUT FLOATIES, because they give children a false sense of safety and do not prepare them for real-life emergencies.
British Swim School is the only school that teaches children in their STREET CLOTHES during our Survival Week several times per year because real-life accidents happen fully clothed and a child needs to know how this extra weight feels.
British Swim School lessons are held YEAR – ROUND and are not sessions based because CONSISTENCY is key in learning a new skill. You can start at any time.
British Swim School students learn better in SMALL GROUPS, that’s why our beginner classes have a maximum ratio of 4:1.

Lesson Pricing & Fees

We bill on the 25th of the current month for the upcoming month tuition. For example, on the 25th of July, we bill for August’s monthly tuition.

1 Class Per Week

4 to 5 Classes Per Month

2 Classes Per Week

$339⁵⁰ Per Month

Monthly discounted flat fee for 2 classes per week or 2 students** enrolled each in 1 class per week
(**) Equivalent to a monthly flat fee of $169.75 for each student/class
8 to 10 Classes Per Month

Fee Details

Students who take lessons twice per week reach their goal three times faster!
You are automatically eligible for our *Best Value* price if:
- One student takes lessons 2x per week
- When an additional child or adult enrolls from the same household
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE included with your initial payment:
- $40 per student/$50 per family.
FIRST MONTH’S TUITION: The classes of the first calendar month are paid upon enrollment on a prorated basis – you pay for a prorated monthly flat fee from your desired start date until the end of this month. You can start as early as today!

After this initial payment, your card will automatically be charged on the 25th of each month for the following month’s tuition.
As payment, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Amex. No cash or check payments.
All classes are 30-minutes long.
We allow FREE MAKE-UP lessons for reported absences. The make-up lessons will expire within the 4 months of the absence.
All classes, including adults, are conducted in small groups (4:1 student/instructor ratio max, Tadpole, and Stroke Development classes 6:1 student/instructor ratio max).
