British Swim School in the Community

Group of British Swim School employees smiling

Here at British Swim School, we pride our program on having an excellent culture with great employees. This past week our employees spent the day volunteering with York Street Project in Jersey City. York Street Project is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the highly-visible factors of Education, Housing and Childcare that block women from creating self-fulfilled, self-sufficient lives. Our staff spent the day working with their Nurturing Place program, which is a childhood development center for homeless and low-income infants and children from ages 2 months to 5 years old. Human Resources Manager Jessica O’Toole who organized the volunteering initiative stated that “It’s always great to be involved in the community, it’s something I’ve always had a passion for and I wanted to incorporate that into the great culture we’ve created here at British Swim School. We want to make an impact in Hudson County inside and outside the water. We look forward to volunteering with many more organizations like this in the future”.
