Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Makeup Eligibility: Private lessons are reserved exclusively for one swimmer and require a dedicated instructor and pool time. Unlike group classes, the reserved lesson time cannot be reassigned to other students if a private lesson is missed. Because of this, enrollment in a private lesson is considered a commitment to attend the scheduled class each week.

There are no make-up classes for missed private lessons, regardless of the reason for the absence. Missed private lessons are not eligible for credits, refunds, transfers, or rescheduling.

If British Swim School must cancel a private lesson due to instructor or facility availability, the pool manager will work directly with the family to coordinate a make-up lesson at a mutually agreeable time. A make-up may be scheduled with a different instructor if necessary.
