Is Barracuda Right for You?
To qualify for Barracuda, swimmers must:
- Demonstrate correct technique in all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
- Be able to swim 50 yards of each stroke with proper turns.
- Successfully complete a 100 yards Individual Medley (IM) in one continuous swim, consisting of 25 yards each of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.

Not at all! Many swimmers join Barracuda simply to improve their skills, stay active, and enjoy swimming in a more focused, supportive environment. It’s a great fit whether your swimmer plans to compete or just loves the sport.
Each level includes a mix of drills, distance work, and technique correction, led by expert instructors in small groups for personalized feedback.
Barracuda 1: 45 minutes & 8 swimmers per instructor
Barracuda 2: 1 hour & 10 swimmers per instructor
Barracuda 3: 1.5 hours & 10 swimmers per instructor
Yes! Unlike large team practices, Barracuda keeps ratios low so instructors can provide direct feedback and personal encouragement. Every swimmer gets the attention they need to improve safely and confidently.
