Did you know that February is American Heart Month? And while there are many ways to think about heart health (put down that salt shaker!), we are compelled to remind you that swimming is one of the best activities for heart health. With the ability to swim at any age and be either low- or high-impact, it is definitely a great option for cardiovascular conditioning.
All of us at British Swim School love swimming. We love teaching, saving lives and other elements of the business, too; but our primary passion is that special time in the pool. So while everyone professes their affection for people, places and things during the month of February, we always come back to our true love: water.
