British Swim School Ranks No. 339 on the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400

This recognition marks a milestone for the swim school franchise serving communities across the United States and Canada.

British Swim School, a survival-focused swim school franchise with locations across the United States and Canada, has earned the No. 339 spot on the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400.

The annual list ranks the largest U.S.-based franchise systems by global systemwide sales across a wide range of industries. For British Swim School, the recognition provides an opportunity to celebrate the franchise owners, aquatics professionals and pool partners who bring its water-safety mission to communities in both countries.

Founded in 1981, British Swim School provides swim lessons for children and adults, with an emphasis on water acclimation and survival skills before progressing to stroke development. Its “Every Age. Every Stage.” approach welcomes swimmers with different experience levels and goals, helping them build skills and confidence in and around the water.

“This recognition belongs to the franchise owners and teams who bring our mission to life every day,” said Ashley Gundlach, President of British Swim School. “Across the United States and Canada, their dedication helps more people access essential swim instruction. As we grow, our focus remains on supporting their businesses and expanding that impact.”

British Swim School’s franchise model brings lessons to existing pools through relationships with fitness clubs, hotels and other facilities. These partnerships connect local business ownership with community access to swim instruction, while giving pool partners an additional way to use their facilities.

The No. 339 ranking marks another milestone as British Swim School continues to expand its reach and support its franchise community across the United States and Canada.
