Alexander’s background in aquatics started when he was enrolled in swim lessons at a young age. He always remembers loving to swim; he joined a swimming club when he was in middle school and also began to swim competitively. Before joining BSS, he was a lifeguard at a local water park for around 4 years.
In his free time, Alexander loves to swim laps on campus, as well as cook and experiment with different foods in the kitchen. He is best known for his fun, kind spirit and problem-solving abilities. He’s also interested in supercars, and would love to take a road trip in a McLaren 720s Spider one day. One of Alexander’s favorite experiences was when he was able to study abroad for five weeks this summer in Toulouse, France and Barcelona, Spain. There he was immersed in a different culture without even quite knowing the language, which he says was a great experience and helped further his knowledge of language and culture.
Alexander currently attends The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with a minor in business. Aside from travelling the world, he aspires to invent something that could drastically change people’s lives, and be an entrepreneur or business owner.
