Did you know groundhogs can climb trees and they can swim?

Time for the groundhog to let us know whether it will be an early and warm spring or late and cold. Whether early or late, isn’t it time to sign up your cuddly little one for British Swim School lessons?

Groundhog Day is celebrated on February 2. People wait to see if the groundhog sees his shadow in which case, there will be another 6 weeks of cold weather. If he doesn’t see his shadow, spring is around the corner. The good news/bad news is that a snowstorm is predicted for the Eastern US – no shadows for Punxsawtney Phil – but that means warm weather on the way.

Sooner or later, spring will be here and that means summer is not far behind. This is a great time to enroll your child in British Swim School lessons. Babies can learn to become acclimated to the water and float on their backs so that the risk of drowning is significantly diminished. Toddlers and older children can learn strokes so that they are better swimmers and safer in the water.
