Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children 1 – 4 (more than motor vehicle accidents) and it is the second leading cause for children 4 – 9.

Five times as many children, although rescued, are hospitalized, many with life changing disabilities.

Drowning happens silently and quickly.
