March Survival Week: March 25-31

Survival week is right around the corner, and we want you to be prepared! At British Swim School, we will teach your kids how to navigate the water in clothes, so they can be properly prepared for the unexpected. Understanding the weight of their clothes underwater and how their body moves in them brings a whole new level of appreciation and skill.

March’s Survival Week Theme: PIJAMAS!!!

Here are some tips:

  • All students must come with clothes over their swim suit and wear socks.
  • Infants-Minnow should wear light-weight clothes.
  • Turtle 1 and above should wear pants and shoes able to get wet.
  • Shark 2 challenge: jeans, sweatshirt, and shoes.
  • Wear a swimsuit under the clothes.
  • Bring an extra plastic bag to put wet clothes in after the lesson.
  • Clothing week is for all swimmers, but parents can participate, too!
  • The heavier the clothing, the more the child will feel the weight of it. (Think jeans, sweatshirts, sweaters, sneakers or boots for maximum impact.)
