8 Reason to Gift Swim Lessons for Christmas

  1. Give an experience, not a toy. We love the recent trend to give experiences instead of toys. Your children will love getting out of the house and getting to improve their swimming skills before summer. Let’s get them out of that puddle jumper or floaties before the rest of their friends.
  2. Give a life-saving skill. All our students learn how to survive in the water before perfecting any other skills. We believe all children can learn to float, call for help and get out of the water.
  3. Give the opportunity to make new friends. Our small classes have no more than four students. The small class size allows your child the chance to make new friends and play with them at the end of class.
  4. Give yourself the chance to meet new parents. Poolside, you have the choice to socialize with other parents. It warms our hearts every time we see a parent cheering on another family’s child. Have a child under three? Our parent-assisted classes have been a bonding experience bringing parents together since our opening day.
  5. Give the potential for a life-long sport. Swimming is a sport that can last a lifetime. It is easier on joints than any other sport, allowing most swimmers to continue the sport for as long as they’d like.
  6. Give a mentorship. Many of our current parents would recommend giving your child the chance to build a relationship with our coaches. Students learn to trust our team to keep them safe. Many times, friendships spark between students and coaches. Nothing makes us happier than seeing a student bounce through our door waving at their favorite coach.
  7. Give fun exercise. Swimming burns calories, builds muscle and works the mind. We’re a little biased, but we’d rather swim for half an hour than run a mile.
  8. Give yourself peace of mind. Picture yourself walking to the beach this summer – you have so much to drag across the sand. Snacks, water, chairs, towels, toys, sunscreen… but no floaties or puddle jumpers. And you don’t have to turn back for them because your kids know how to swim. Now sit down with the other human pack-mules and relax until it’s your turn to watch the water.
