Welcome to British Swim School
at Castleview

Our pool is located within Castleview which is located at 1755 Frobisher Lane, Ottawa ON, K1G 3T6. The pool facilities are open to our valued members. Please note that we do not offer drop-in lessons or drop-in swimming memberships. Our lessons are specifically designed for our members, who have the privilege of enjoying access to our facilities as part of their membership.

This location is nestled on Frobisher Lane and Riverside Drive in Ottawa’s Southeast end. The British Swim School program operating inside the Castleview building offers a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners and older advanced swimmers. Adult classes are available as well. It is never too late to learn to swim!

Our unique program is taught by the area’s best trained instructors. Training is developed and provided by British Swim School and is built on British Swim School’s long-standing, logically progressive, and goal-oriented curriculum. The School has been teaching water survival and swimming successfully and consistently since 1981!

The pool is in a smaller building at the back, separate from the apartment complex.

Free street parking is available at this location. On site parking is also available for $1 per hour.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

  • Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership– we do not have sessions. This membership will be auto-renewed every month.
  • You remain enrolled with auto-billing until you give 30-days notice.
  • Start date: you will be scheduled to start immediately after enrollment; you will receive a registration confirmation indicating your start date
  • Tuition: Monthly flat fee that is automatically charged via credit card on the 24th of each month for the following month’s lessons
  • 1st tuition payment today: Tuition is pro-rated for the remainder of the current month
  • Annual membership fee: A one-time annual fee of $40 in addition to tuition is charged when you sign up.
  • Enrolling after the 22nd? We also include next month’s tuition
  • Class ratio 4:1 (except Tadpole/Stroke classes, swim team)
  • Waitlist: No charge but a credit card is required to hold your slot
  • We will email and text you when a waitlist opens, and we require a response within 24 hours. After that, the slot will be given to the next person on the list.

  • As payment, we accept Visa, Visa Debit and MasterCard.
  • All classes are 30-minutes long.
  • Students who take swim lessons twice per week reach their goals 3x faster.
  • Annual Registration Fee: $40 per family.
  • The first month is paid upon enrollment on a pro-rated basis.
  • Tuition is automatically charged on or around the 24th of each month for the following month’s lessons.
  • Private and Semi-Private lessons: available upon request and subject to availability. Please call our office for more information.
