1. What will I learn in adult swimming lessons?
   That depends on your current swimming abilities. For adults who are nervous about getting into a pool, we’ll start by getting you comfortable in the water, with gentle encouragement and support. From there, we’ll cover water safety and survival skills as well as swim strokes and propulsion techniques. Whatever your skill level, our experienced instructors will help you reach your swimming goals.
2. I’m afraid I’ll be cold during swimming lessons – are the pools heated?
   Yes! All our swimming lessons are held in heated indoor pools conveniently located throughout the Budd Lake area. In addition to heating the pool to 85-86 degrees, the air temperature is a warm 87 degrees, so you’ll be comfortable when you exit the pool, too.  
3. How many students are in each class?
   Small class sizes allow for more individualized instruction. That’s why all our adult swimming classes are taught in small groups of four students.
4. Are private swimming lessons available for adults?
   Yes, private adult swimming lessons are available upon request. Please call our office to enroll.
5. What is BSS AquaActive?
   In addition to swimming lessons, British Swim School North New Jersey is proud to now offer Aqua Aerobics classes for adults. These low-impact classes are choreographed to upbeat music and are the perfect way to get a full body workout while having a great time.
