British Swim School Featured in the Wall Street Journal

In case you missed it, British Swim School was recently featured in a WSJ article! The article includes a video demonstrating how a six month old baby learned to float after using our gentle methods.

WSJ takes the time to highlight some parts of our program and was insightful enough to notice one of the less recognized parts. Swim lessons are not just about mechanics of learning to swim; they also lead to development in other areas such as independence and self confidence. “I wanted my baby to learn to love the water and not be scared of it,” says the 26-year-old Ms. Smirnova, and avid swimmer. “She’s a water baby now. When she’s crying, if you put her in the water, she stops”‘

When you have a time we encourage you to take a look at the full article in the link below. For those who do not have a subscription to the Wall Street Journal, free access is available via mobile device.
