Swimboree: Baby & Toddler Swim Lessons for Ages 3 to 36 Months (Tadpole Graduates)
Swimboree is the next-level swim lesson for babies and toddlers ages 3 to 36 months who have completed Tadpole, with a smaller group size that allows instructors to work hands-on with each swimmer. This program builds on the acclimation and water comfort gained in the Tadpole level, with a smaller class size to allow instructors to work more closely and hands-on with each swimmer. Parents/guardians remain in the water to provide reassurance, while instructors introduce early survival swim techniques using songs, purposeful movement, and engaging activities. This class helps swimmers grow more confident and begin developing independence in the water, serving as a bridge between full parent/guardian participation and future independent instruction.
5 Goals of Swimboree
- Assisted (or independent) back floating
- Assisted (or independent) submerged rollover
- Full submersion from the wall (sitting or standing)
- Able to separate from the parent
- Independent in the swim ring
