British Swim School Manhattan program operating inside residential building offers a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners through to advanced swimmers. We also offer adult classes and classes for special needs.

Liberty Terrace is distinctly situated on the Hudson River Waterfront and Park connecting to walking, running and bike paths that extend along more than 4.5 miles of Manhattan’s West side and connecting many of the city’s landmarks including the World Trade Center, Tribeca and communities North along the Hudson River Piers. Liberty Terrace is a 26 story building with 246 residences that welcomes in abundant sunlight from the West and North along the water’s edge. The amenities at Liberty Terrace include a full-time doorman, concierge and live-in superintendent, and indoor heated pool. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

ENTERING FACILITY: Buzz in with the doorman before entering the building. The pool is located on the 1st floor.
FACILITY-SPECIFIC RULES: Please note that all rules are strictly enforced by the British Swim School Manhattan Team and the Liberty Terrace staff.
* You must bring your own towel
* NO outside shoes allowed
* No eating nor drinking is allowed on the pool deck or in the changing rooms/restrooms
* No one over 6 years of age may enter opposite-sex locker rooms, including parents and caregivers
* Please leave strollers outside of the pool deck in the lobby area.
* Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership –we do not have sessions. This membership will be auto-renewed every month, on 23rd of each month.
* You remain enrolled with auto-billing until you give 30-days notice.
* Start Date: Immediately after enrollment, you will receive a welcome email with your start date confirmation and more details.
* We encourage you to download our BSS Mobile App, to check your account, find classes, review policies, manage absences, and book a makeup.
* No trial classes.
* Tuition: Month by Month which is automatically charged via credit card on the 25th of each month for the following month. There is an extra charge for months that have five weeks.
* 1st Tuition Payment Today: Tuition is pro-rated for the remainder of the current month
* Registration Fee: One-time $49 in addition to tuition (or $60 per family) added to today’s tuition.
* Enrolling after the 22nd? We also include next month’s tuition.
* Class Ratio 4:1 (except Tadpole and Stroke classes).
* Waitlist: No charge but a credit card is required to hold your slot.
* We will email and text you when a waitlist opens, and we require a response within 24 hours. After that, the slot will be given to the next person on the list.
* Makeups: You are eligible to book a makeup as long as you are enrolled in swim program. Makeups expire after the drop off date.
We provide complimentary WELCOME GIFT: BSS Cinch Bag, BSS Signature Towel and BSS Swim Cap (for children swim program).

We know a lot of families choose to travel during the summertime but do not want to lose their spot in class. If you are one of those families we’d like to offer you the option of freezing your account for 90 days. During the 90-day period of your choosing, you will not be charged. We do have a $49 disclaimer that states you will be charged if the break is longer than 90 days. Once your freeze is over you’ll be able to dive right back into lessons with us!
