British Swim School Manhattan program operating inside residential building offers a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners through to advanced swimmers. We also offer adult classes and classes for special needs.

Liberty Terrace is distinctly situated on the Hudson River Waterfront and Park connecting to walking, running and bike paths that extend along more than 4.5 miles of Manhattan’s West side and connecting many of the city’s landmarks including the World Trade Center, Tribeca and communities North along the Hudson River Piers. Liberty Terrace is a 26 story building with 246 residences that welcomes in abundant sunlight from the West and North along the water’s edge. The amenities at Liberty Terrace include a full-time doorman, concierge and live-in superintendent, and indoor heated pool. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

ENTERING FACILITY: Buzz in with the doorman before entering the building. The pool is located on the 1st floor.
FACILITY-SPECIFIC RULES: Please note that all rules are strictly enforced by the British Swim School Manhattan Team and the Liberty Terrace staff.
* You must bring your own towel
* NO outside shoes allowed
* No eating nor drinking is allowed on the pool deck or in the changing rooms/restrooms
* No one over 6 years of age may enter opposite-sex locker rooms, including parents and caregivers
* Please leave strollers outside of the pool deck in the lobby area.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

• Membership Enrollment: Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership with auto-renewal every month; we do not offer session-based classes.
• Cancellation Policy: Your membership will continue with auto-billing until you provide a 30-day notice to cancel via email.
• Start Date: After enrollment, you will receive a welcome email confirming your start date and additional details.
• Mobile App: We encourage you to download our Mobile App to manage your account, find classes, review policies, manage absences, and book makeups.
• Trial Classes: Please note that we do not offer trial classes.
• Tuition: Monthly tuition is automatically charged via credit card on the 25th for the following month. An extra charge applies for months with five (5) weeks.
• First Tuition Payment: Tuition will be pro-rated for the remainder of the current month.
• Registration Fee: A one-time registration fee of $49 (or $60 per family) will be added to your first tuition payment. Welcome gift will be provided on a first date: bag and swim cap.
• Late Enrollment: If you enroll after the 22nd of the month, next month’s tuition will also be included.
• Class Ratio: Our class ratio is 4:1, except for Tadpole and Stroke development classes.
• Waitlist: Joining the waitlist is free, but a credit card is required to hold your slot. You will be contacted via email and text when a spot opens, and a response is required within 24 hours.
• Makeups: You may book a makeup class as long as you remain enrolled. Makeups expire after your termination date.
• Health and Safety: All eligible staff members are vaccinated.
