Skills Taught in our Toddler Swimming Lessons
British Swim School of Greater Virginia Beach offers swimming lessons for children as young as three months old! We offer water acclimation and beginner water survival classes with fun, gentle and safe instruction that’s specifically designed for first-time swimmers. Our highly trained and child-friendly swim instructors incorporate songs, splashing and educational playtime into every lesson to make learning fun by providing an environment that fosters a lifelong love of swimming! That being said, water safety and survival techniques are a foundational component of everything we teach, beginning in our toddler swimming lessons and reinforced at every subsequent level!
Toddlers will begin in our water acclimation program and will graduate to our water survival program as soon as they’ve adapted to the environment! In addition to many others, a few of skills taught in our toddler swimming lessons in Virginia Beach include:
