At British Swim School Greater Boston, we believe that every adult and child should know basic water safety and survival skills. That’s why all our programs include water safety and survival. Students learn and practice life-saving skills, including how to swim-flip-swim to safety, exit a pool without a ladder, and spin around in the water to find a way out.

For students with little to no experience in the water, we start with water acclimation. This includes getting comfortable with being in the pool, full submersion, and floating without assistance.

Basic beginner swim strokes come next, followed by instruction in all four strokes. Advanced students focus on perfecting their technique and building speed in the pool.

Whether you are entirely new to swimming or looking to perfect your technique, our unique methods and experienced instructors will help you build and improve your skills in the water.
