Tadpole

Water Acclimation

Age Group: 3 – 36 months

Introduces infants and toddlers to water with a “No tears, no fear” approach.

Swimboree

Beginner Water Survival

Age Group: 3 – 36 months

Builds on Tadpole by introducing beginner survival skills, with a parent in the water.

Seahorse

Advanced Water Survival

Age Group: 18–36 months

Focuses on independent survival skills while parents observe from the deck.

Starfish

Water Acclimation

Age Group: 3-11 years

Introduces new swimmers to floating and submersion, for a positive water experience.

Minnow

Beginner Water Survival

Age Group: 3-11 years

Focuses on fun, safety, and independence, teaching core skills like floating, and basic survival.

Turtle 1

Advanced Water Survival

Age Group: 3–11 years

Builds propulsion and beginner strokes on the front and back to prepare for stroke training.

Turtle 2

Beginner Stroke Skills

Age Group: 3–11 years

Focuses on proper coordination for freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, introducing the basics of butterfly.

Shark 1

Advanced Stroke Skills

Age Group: 3–11 years

Refines all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) for greater endurance and speed.

Shark 2

Pre-Team Swimmers

Age Group: 3–11 years

Prepares young swimmers for future team participation with starts, turns, individual medleys, and improved stamina.

Young Adult

Age Group: 12+

Builds comfort and safety for teens using British Swim School methods, from foundational skills to stroke refinement.

Our instructors are highly-trained, experienced, and passionate about teaching water safety. They complete our comprehensive British Swim School training and hold national certifications in lifeguarding and first aid to ensure safety is a priority in every lesson.

We’re committed to tracking and celebrating your progress. Each program provides five clear goals and you progress at your own pace. These goals guide our lessons and ensure you get instruction that fits your unique skills and learning style.

You join a small group and receive individual attention and tailored instruction. Water acclimation and water survival programs have a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio, with stroke development programs maintaining a 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio. 

Our step-by-step program focuses on water acclimation, survival skills, and stroke development. The familiar format of each lesson offers comfort and consistency as you progress through our levels, making each transition smooth and seamless. 

Swimmers can start as early as 3 months old—because it’s never too soon to learn water safety. There’s no age limit, so whether you’re learning as a toddler, teenager, or anywhere in between, we have a program to help you become a safer swimmer.
