Welcome to British Swim School
at Bramalea Retirement Residence

This spacious pool is conveniently located inside the Bramalea Retirement Residence at 30 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton ON, L6T4G3. Featuring the warmest, non-chlorine water around, this pool is the perfect location for your family to learn to swim with us year-round.

The building is situated at the corner of Queen and Dixie (at Bramalea City Centre mall). The British Swim School entrance is on the North / Queen Street side.  A British Swim School sign is posted outside the entrance for easy recognition. Parking is available on the west side of the building. There is no parking in the resident’s reserved parking spots.

We have on-deck change rooms and change pods available. Washrooms are located on the main floor beside the elevators.

The pool is open to our valued members during lesson times. We do not offer drop-in lessons or drop-in swim.

Things To Know Before Enrollment:

Children’s Lessons
  • Children’s lessons are 30-minutes long and are conducted in small groups of four (excluding parent & child and Stroke Classes)
  • Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership, with monthly auto-billing until customers provide a written 30-day cancellation notice
  • The first month is paid upon enrollment. Payment is pro-rated depending on start date, which means you can be billed twice in the same month
    • Example: Student starts on the 10th of the month. Fees will be calculated based on the remaining scheduled lessons in the month. Fees will be processed again on the 25th of the month, for the following month’s lessons.
  • Enrolling after the 15th of the month? Fees for the next month will also be charged at the time of enrollment
  • We adhere to a one makeup per 3 month policy. Makeups are based on availability, cannot be accumulated, and expire 15 days after a student has dropped from our program
  • We cannot facilitate requests for a specific instructor
  • All programs are non-transferable and non-refundable
  • We do not offer trial classes
Adult Lessons
  • Adult lessons are offered in 10-week increments, are 45 minutes long and conducted in groups of 5-7 depending on location
  • We charge a one-time fee, which is paid upon enrollment
  • We offer one makeup only. Makeups are based on availability and cannot be rescheduled once confirmed
  • We cannot facilitate requests for a specific instructor
  • All programs are non-transferable and non-refundable
  • We do not offer trial classes

Small Group

$138 Per Month + Tax

Private

$399 Per Month + Tax
  • 1 Lesson Per Week

Adult

$450 Plus Tax
  • 1 Lesson Per Week
  • Per 10 Week Program

Fee Details

  • Enrollment in our children’s program leads to an ongoing membership. We do not have a sessional children’s program
  • Children’s lessons are 30-minutes long and are conducted in small groups (4:1 for beginner levels and 6:1 for Parent & Child, Stroke and Advanced levels)
  • Tuition is billed automatically on the 25th of each month for the following month’s lessons
  • We require a 30 day written notice of cancellation. Fees will be billed up to the cancellation date, after which accounts will be deactivated.
  • All prices are exclusive of HST.
  • Annual Registration Fee: $45 per family.
  • We accept Visa and Mastercard or Visa/Mastercard Debit.
  • The first month is paid upon enrollment. Payment is pro-rated depending on start date
  • A credit card is required to waitlist for programs. We will notify you if a spot becomes available. Your card will not be charged until registration.
  • All programs are non-transferable and non-refundable
  • We do not offer trial classes
