Dani has been swimming since she was 4 years old, and the sport runs in the family. In fact, her cousin Cammile Adams is an Olympic swimmer who placed 5th in the London and 4th in the Rio Olympic games for the 200 m butterfly! Dani has been with BSS since October 2018 and has loved every minute of it. She has had experience teaching kids before, using her competitive dance experience to teach private lessons and mini camps for elementary-aged children.
Dani enjoys dancing with her hoop and being out in the sun, as well as hiking and going to music festivals. At one festival on her birthday, she was able to go up on stage in front of hundreds of people with her favorite artist– she thinks that was the best day of her life. Dani would love to go to Thailand, and says she is best known for her clumsiness.
Dani is currently attending Texas State University. In the future, she hopes to receive her doctorate in psychology and practice sport psychology with professional athletic teams.
