About Our Swimming Classes in Rochester
British Swim School offers a wide variety of swimming classes in Rochester to accommodate students of all ages and skill levels. We have swimming classes to suit the needs of every family, from parent-assisted infant and toddler programs to adult!
Everyone learns at their own pace and needs a different level of support, so we keep our classes small to prevent overcrowding and promote one-on-one attention. Students then advance to the following class level as soon as they’ve mastered the goal of each class level.
What class types does British Swim School offer?
- Water Acclimation. Perfect for the littlest of learners, these classes are the best place for beginners to start learning how to swim. These classes gradually acclimate swimmers to the water with splashing, singing, and activities to reduce any potential for tears!
- Water Survival. Building on our water acclimation skills, swimmers will begin to explore the water independently while learning the back float, swim strokes, and other safety skills.
- Stroke Development. In our most advanced classes, swimmers perfect their techniques for the four main swimming strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
