At British Swim School Orlando, we offer Make-Up classes for missed swimming lessons!
Here is how it works:
- A make-up class will be offered for group classes that are cancelled by British Swim School for closures due to pool machinery malfunction or upon issuance of a Severe Weather Warning requiring the closure of schools and government agencies. There will be no fee for this make-up.
- A make-up class will be available for any group lessons that you miss and can be scheduled one week in advanced. Scheduling this make-up is free if the absence was called in in advance, and $5 if it was an unannounced no-show.
- Not available for Groupon, Living Social or any other offer.
- Make-ups are non-transferable and conditional to availability.
- Make-ups will expire after 60 days if unused. They are limited to students who are actively enrolled in our swim school.
- Missed make-ups cannot be rescheduled again.
- Make-ups will not be given for Private classes when classes are cancelled by British Swim School; credits will be applied for the value of that cancelled lesson. If you miss a private class, that lesson can be re-scheduled in group classes and same make-up rules apply.
- Students who become inactive: for a nominal fee of $10 per class, we will re-schedule any make-ups that have not expired.
We cannot guarantee a specific instructor for your make-up class. Make ups have no monetary value. Refunds will not be issued for cancelled or missed lessons in lieu of make-ups.
How to call in an absence in advance?
- Call our customer service team weekdays during regular business hours at (407) 574-6916.
- After hours or on the weekend, send us an email to goswimorlando@britishswimschool.com.
- Make sure you include Name of student and Swim class he/she will be missing.
- You can request a specific make-up class (within 7 days) and we will confirm availability within 48 hours.
