at LA Fitness - Pasadena

LA Fitness Pasadena is a large multi-faceted gym serving the Pasadena and Severna Park Maryland communities. LA Fitness Pasadena is located right off of Governor Ritchie Highway next to Aldi and Sprouts Farmers Market. LA Fitness features a large parking lot and British Swim School families may park anywhere within the lot. Upon arriving at the facility, British Swim School families simply need to tell the LA Fitness front desk staff that they are here for lessons with British Swim School and you will be directed to the pool. On your first class, you will receive a “Water Watcher” badge and lanyard that you will show the LA Fitness staff on subsequent visits to denote that you are with British Swim School. British Swim School students are not permitted to use the LA Fitness locker rooms, however there are deck showers available for student use and British Swim School provides changing areas for our families to use. There is a family restroom that our families may use. LA Fitness Pasadena will feature all water acclimation, water survival and stroke development classes, as well as our Adult, Young Adult and Barracuda programs.

Fee Details

Tuition starts at $29.50 per lesson depending on the frequency of lessons per week, or number of children enrolled at the same time.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. Your card will be automatically debited between the 20th-25th of every month for the following month’s lessons.

Students who take swim lessons twice per week reach their goals three times faster. Tuition is also *Best Value when two or more members of your immediate family take lessons. You are eligible for our *Best Value price if:
- One student takes lessons twice (or more) per week
- Siblings take one or more lessons per week each
- An adult and a child take one or more lessons per week each

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE $39 per student / $50 per family.

We do not offer trial classes. We know from our 37+ years of experience that you cannot judge the quality of a swim program in one lesson, but we offer a Risk Free Guarantee.
- If you enroll, take three classes and are not satisfied, we will refund you all tuition fees that you pre-paid, including the fees for the three lessons you have already taken.
- Please note: You have to take three (3) consecutive lessons and actively participate, in the water with the class for this to take effect; we will not provide refunds if you leave after just one or two classes, as we want your child to get the chance to get acclimated, which rarely happens in just one or two classes when a child is introduced to a completely new environment.
Private and Semi-Private lessons are available upon request and subject to availability. Please call our office, at (410) 695-6200, for more information.
All classes are 30-minutes long.
All classes, including adults are conducted in small groups (4:1 student/instructor ratio max, Tadpole and Stroke Development classes 6:1 student/instructor ratio max).
If you miss a class, for any reason, you may choose to make up the class for a fee of $5. Please note, make ups are dependent on class availability and you are not guaranteed your regular instructor.
When you initially enroll, your first month’s tuition will be pro-rated based on the number of classes you will receive. If you enroll on the 15th of the month or later, you will automatically be registered for the following month as well.
