Withdrawal & Payment Information:

I authorize British Swim School to debit my credit / debit card account on a monthly basis for swim lessons.
All automatic debits will be charged automatically on the 24th of each month for the upcoming month's lessons.
New enrollments will be charged an Annual Registration Fee of $37 upon enrollment. This fee is good for one year and will be renewed each calendar year that you are an active customer.
Payment for tuition is due at the time of enrollment.
Full payment must be made prior to student(s) participating in swim lessons.
You will not be charged for any national & religious holidays when the British Swim School is closed and make-ups will not be scheduled for these days.
You will be assessed a $10.00 handling charge on a declined Automatic Debit transaction. Please inform us of any credit / debit card changes before your billing date. You can update card or billing info using your account portal.

Withdrawal from the program:Please provide us 30 days written notice when you plan to withdraw from or pause lessons, so we have time to backfill the class spot that we have been reserving for you. This is required via email for tracking purposes so we can respond with a confirmation.Email goswimcharlotte@britishswimschool.com

Example: Notice of withdrawal given on August 15th will result in a final class date of September 15th. You will be responsible for payment for the unpaid classes that cover the 30-day withdrawal period.

Withdrawal notices submitted after the upcoming month’s billing date (typically the 24th of the month) has taken place will not result in a refund.

No Refunds as class spots have been reserved for you regardless of attendance

Fee Details:

We do not use fixed sessions, so you can start your enrollment at any time to fit your schedule. Students can move up to the next level as soon as they are ready by demonstrating the 5 skills required at their current level.
All classes are 30 minutes long. Double sessions can be booked if an hour class is preferred.
All survival classes are conducted in small groups (4:1 student/instructor ratio max, Tadpole/Swimboree and Stroke Development classes 6:1 student/instructor ratio max).
All Adult Classes are semi-private 2:1 student/instructor ratio
Private lessons are available upon request and subject to availability. Please call our office for more information.
All programs are non-transferable and we require 30 days advance written notice to withdraw from any class.

Billing:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Your card will be automatically debited after the 20th of every month for the following month’s lessons. Please provide withdrawal notice before this.
When you initially enroll, your first month’s tuition will be pro-rated based on the number of classes you will receive that month. If you enroll on the 15th of the month or later, you will automatically be registered for the following month as well. Early withdrawals must be mentioned at registration or 30 Days in advance of the withdrawal.
Annual Family Registration Fee: $36

Make-Ups:

Make-ups are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed so please make every effort to attend your normally scheduled class.
- They are dependent on class availability (other student’s absences) and can be done at any of our Metro Charlotte locations.
- Private lessons are not guaranteed private make-ups.
If you must miss a lesson, please enter your absence into your account portal BEFORE the missed class time starts so it’s ELIGIBLE for a makeup. Failure to inform us in advance of the class starting forfeits the ability to do a makeup as we will be holding your spot in the class as scheduled. No need to call, please enter it into your account portal.
A make-up lesson will be available for any ELIGIBLE absence and can be scheduled one week in advance.
Make-ups will expire after 30 days of the absence if not rescheduled.
- Make-ups due to BSS pool closures/class cancelations will not expire.
They are limited to students who are actively enrolled(paid customer for the month) in our swim lessons at the time of the make-up.
- Make-ups must be completed before the last day of your final month of paid lessons and cannot be used to extend lessons into an unpaid month.
Make-ups may not be rescheduled (2nd time)
The Make-up system only works if students enter their absences in advance so your absence can be used for someone else’s make-up class. You will likely be using someone else’s absence for your make-up classes.
Please make every effort to manage your absences and make-ups using your account portal (link was in your original confirmation email). This will help us prevent price increases, so we don’t need to hire staff just to manage these administrative tasks.
