We are excited to announce that on April 29, 2024 British Swim School will be offering year-round swim lessons at PA Fitness at the York Galleria. The pool will be exclusive for our use during our class times. The pool at PA Fitness is a 2 lane 25 yard pool that is kept to 86 degrees and is perfect for all levels of the British Swim School program, from our Tadpoles to Adults! There is access to the locker rooms and changing tents will be set-up on deck.

The pool is located inside PA Fitness at the York Galleria Mall, right off the Mt. Zion Road exit of Route 30 with plenty of close parking. This location is very convenient for many families in both York and Lancaster Counties. Enroll today for our April launch date in York, PA!

Fee Details

Start date: We are a skill-based, year-round program, so you can enroll and begin lessons at any time to fit your schedule! When you enroll, you will start lessons on the next class day for your chosen lesson. You will receive a welcome email confirming your start date (current week or following week), first-day logistics, and everything else you need to know before your first lesson. You will be enrolled in your chosen day/time every week. You will continue to be enrolled and auto-billed each month for the classes you are enrolled in.
Level Graduation: Students graduate to the next level as soon as they’ve achieved the level’s skill development objectives. Toggle over to the “Our Programs” tab to learn more about the skill objectives of each level! {Note that our experience over 40 years has shown that children who take swim lessons 2 times or more per week reach their goals 3 times faster.}
Tuition: You will be billed monthly (on the 20th) based on the number of classes in the following month (4 days or 5 days). We are not session based. Note that enrollment leads to an ongoing monthly membership that will be auto-renewed every month until you provide 30 days written notice of cancelation.
1st tuition payment: Tuition is pro-rated for the remainder of the current month. If you’re enrolling on or after the 20th of the month we also include next month’s tuition.

Annual Enrollment Fee: $54 charged upon enrollment in addition to tuition. This will be charged again on your anniversary month if your student is enrolled at that time.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Amex.
Lesson Duration: All lessons are 30 minutes long.
Student-Instructor Ratio: Maximum student-instructor ratio for children’s group lessons is 4:1 except for Tadpole and Stroke Development, which are 6:1. Maximum for adult lessons is 2:1.
Make-Up Policy: As long as you provide us advance notice (at least one hour), you will always be granted a make-up lesson in the event of an absence. You can book your make-up lesson at your convenience through our app. No make-up lessons will be provided for no-shows. Private Lessons: If you provide us with advance notice that you will be absent, your student will be able to attend a make-up in a group class.
