If a student misses a lesson for any reason, one make-up per month will be allowed. Scheduling this make-up is free if we are notified in advance of the absence, and $10 if it was an unannounced no-show.
Restrictions
- Students are eligible for one make-up lesson per month for each class taken in a week. If a student takes 2 lessons per week, they are eligible for two make-ups per month. (And so on)
- Make-ups must be scheduled in advance over the phone (201) 676- 3630 during business hours). No stand-by or walk-in make-ups are allowed.
- Make-up classes can only be reserved up to one week in advance.
- Make-ups expire two months after the missed class if they have not been used.
- Make-ups cannot be guaranteed to be available on the same day of the week as the missed class.
- Students who take semi-private or private lessons, and miss a class, have to schedule a make-up lessons within a group class.
- We do allow make-ups to be taken across locations and days within British Swim School Hudson Waterfront based on availability.
- Make-ups are not transferable, conditional to availability, have no monetary value and are limited to students who are actively enrolled in our swim school. All unused make-ups expire on the day of the last paid class as make-ups cannot be used to extend enrollment after the last paid class.
- There are no make-ups for missed make-ups.
- Make-ups cannot be used as payment for regular classes.

You can also send us an email notifying us of your absence. (You can email us at goswimhudsonnj@britishswimschool.com) You should receive a reply within 24 hours.
You must include the Name of the Student and the Class that he/she will be missing. You can request a specific make-up class (must be within 7 days) and we will confirm availability within 48 hours.
