Our Aqua Active classes are expertly crafted to provide an array of benefits that can significantly augment your general health and well-being. Water aerobics is the perfect blend of fitness, fun, and relaxation.

This class takes place in the shallow end of the pool, focusing on low-endurance exercises, using pool noodles and hand buoys. Did you know that water has more resistance than air? The exercises performed in the water burn more calories with lower impact than standard exercises!

Class Types:

  • Aqua Active – A low-impact water aerobics class is a great way to get in shape while being gentle on your joints. This 45-minute class is held in a saltwater pool and is led by a trained instructor. The exercises are designed to be easy on your body, with a focus on improving flexibility, strength, and balance. You’ll be able to move at your own pace, making it perfect for beginners or those with physical limitations. The class includes a warm-up, a variety of exercises, and a cool-down. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and energized!
  • Aqua Blast – This fun and energetic water exercise class is a great way to stay active and have a blast! This 45-minute class is held in a saltwater pool and is led by a trained instructor. You’ll be able to move to the beat of the music while getting a great workout. The exercises are designed to be challenging but enjoyable, with a focus on improving cardio, strength, and flexibility. You’ll be able to move at your own pace and modify the exercises if needed. The class includes a warm-up, a variety of exercises, and a cool-down. You’ll leave feeling energized and ready to take on the day!

  • Location: Residence Inn by Mariott – 2145 N Sheridan Way, Mississauga, ON L5K 1A3
  • $135 per month for two classes a week
  • Aqua Active (Tuesday – Thursday) 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
  • Aqua Blast – (Tuesday – Thursday) 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
