Swimming classes for toddlers in Virginia Beach are perfect for safety-minded parents. These parent-and-me swimming classes teach safety skills so families can enjoy the water comfortably and confidently.
While parental supervision is always the number one safety measure, research shows that participation in formal swim programs, such as those offered by British Swim School, can reduce the risk of drowning by 88 percent among children who are most at risk of drowning.
At British Swim School, we incorporate safety training into each class, so both you and your toddler can learn valuable skills for practicing safety near water at all times.
About Our Swimming Classes for Toddlers in Virginia Beach
British Swim School has helped thousands of students across the United States and Canada become safer swimmers. With over 40 years of experience, we are the perfect place to begin your swim journey.
Our curriculum-based program has three levels: water acclimation, water survival, and stroke development. Once students are comfortable in the water, we introduce safety and survival skills and eventually move on to swimming each of the four strokes.
Why should you consider swimming classes for toddlers?

- Fun. Our swimming classes incorporate singing, splashing, and many other engaging activities. We know that children learn best when they’re having a blast.
- Bonding. Swimming is not only an essential life skill, but it is also an enjoyable way to bond with your toddler. These classes allow moms and dads to strengthen the parent-child bond while teaching new skills.
