One of the things that make our swimming classes such a great fit is the wide range of classes we offer. In fact, our swimming programs have been designed for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Our earliest classes offer water acclimation and water survival skills to children as young as three months old. Meanwhile, our child classes offer a fun and engaging environment to learn to swim for children three years old and up. We even offer adult classes for anyone who wants to learn to swim later in life!

Learn to Swim with Classes for All Ages & Skill Levels!

At British Swim School Greater Boston, we believe that it’s never too early to learn water safety skills. That’s why our earliest classes are designed for children between three and 36 months old.

These classes start with our parent-assisted Tadpole classes, which allow young swimmers to become acclimated to the water. We then graduate swimmers to our parent-assisted Swimboree classes, where they learn water safety basics. Children then move onto our Seahorse program, where they learn advanced water safety skills.

For children three years and up, we offer Framingham-area classes starting with our Starfish program, which is focused on water acclimation. Children then start to develop water safety skills in our Minnow classes. Following Minnow, children build advanced water safety skills and learn to swim in our Turtle and Shark programs.

In addition to our standard classes, we also offer Dolphin lessons for swimmers with special abilities. We modify our classes on a case-by-case basis, focusing on what swimmers with special abilities can do, instead of what they can’t. These small-size classes are designed so that children can join our Minnow classes and advance to other programs.

Finally, we offer Adult swimming classes for older swimmers. Just as it’s never too early to learn to swim, it’s also never too late! We encourage adults of all ages and abilities to enroll in these classes, which allow you to learn to swim at your own pace.
