We recently had a visit from the British Swim School National Aquatics Director and the Vice President of Aquatics, Melissa McGarvey. She spent a day with us in the pool, coaching our swim instructors. Here is what Vicki King, Aquatics Director for British Swim School – East Valley, had to say about this visit.
“One of the many reasons I love the British Swim School is their approach to teaching. I have worked as a professional in this field a very long time, and I have worked with many different programs. Our program is truly the best I have worked with. The British Swim School is a premier swim school, and I was reminded of why we are the best in the business on Monday, when our head Aquatics Director and trainer, Melissa, visited our school. To be an effective and professional instructor, training is crucial. She was impressed with how well our students were doing and the strength of our program. I would like to extend a Thank You to our families that had lessons on Monday evening. Not only were we able to receive training, but we were able to focus that training to the needs of our students, and incorporate those skills immediately in our students’ classes.
