Think about it- why do you sign your child (or yourself) up for swim lessons? Some people want the security of knowing that their child is getting survival skills necessary to be safe in the water. Others would like their child swimming independently without a flotation device or holding on to a parent. Still others see a competitive swim team in their child’s future.

Whatever your goals, British Swim School will help you achieve them. We begin by teaching water survival skills to students as young as 3 months old…and by that, I mean we truly start teaching skills. Yes, we’re having fun in the water and we teach using gentle methods, but we begin working on the foundational safety skills from day one! Students in our learn-to-swim, or stroke development, levels are getting more than encouragement and basics. They are getting high-level, detailed instruction that will set them on the course to swim team level competition. Our instructors are highly skilled at delivering individualized instruction to each student to help them reach their full potential.

That’s the thing about British Swim School- we are goal oriented and progress motivated. Your goals are our goals. We will talk to you about them from the first time you arrive at our pools, and every lesson afterward. If you have questions about your child’s progression, our Deck Ambassador and Aquatics Director will talk with you to make sure everyone is aligned.

One cannot see measurable progress if one does not have clear goals and a plan in place. That is something we believe 100% at British Swim School. With focused attention, we help our students and families reach their individual goals. We love celebrating the achievements of our students and watching them become safe and happy swimmers!
