At British Swim School, our mission is to help every individual become a safer, stronger swimmer.

In addition to teaching traditional swimming strokes, our survival-first swim school specializes in water safety education and survival skill training. Our comprehensive program ensures that every student knows how to survive an accidental fall into the water — not just how to swim.

What class types does British Swim School offer?

• Water Acclimation. Perfect for the littlest of learners, these classes are the best place for beginners to start learning how to swim. These classes gradually acclimate swimmers to the water with splashing, singing, and activities to reduce any potential for tears!
• Water Survival. Building on our water acclimation skills, swimmers will begin to explore the water independently while learning the back float, swim strokes, and other safety skills.
• Stroke Development. In our most advanced classes, swimmers perfect their techniques for the four main swimming strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
