Water Acclimation: 3 Months to 36 Months with Parent (6 Children Max, Parent-assisted class)
Looking for baby swim classes or swimming classes for toddlers? Tadpole is the best place for kids to start learning how to swim! This water acclimation class for infants and toddlers introduces them to the water for the first time, reducing their fear and the potential of tears. We’ll introduce an assisted back float and submersion in this level. You should expect a lot of songs and splashing while your child freely and independently explores the water environment in our parent and baby swim classes.
This program takes our traditional British Swim School methods and applies them in a way that’s designed to allow young adult swimmers (generally ages 13-17) to feel comfortable and safe in the water.
We take into account students’ aquatic backgrounds, foundational skill sets, and goals to tailor our program to what each student needs to feel successful, while still building lifesaving skills and a love of the water.
Beginner Water Survival: 3 Months to 36 Months with Parent (4 Children Max, Parent-assisted class)
Building on our Tadpole skills from our infant and toddler swim classes, your little ones begin their water survival skills through a structured program of songs, games, and fun. Your swimming instructor will work one-on-one with you and your child. Students must meet the goals of our Tadpole swim class in order to enroll in Swimboree.
5 Goals of Swimboree
Assisted (or independent) back floating
Assisted (or independent) submerged rollover
Full submersion from the wall (sitting or standing)
Advanced Water Survival: 18 Months to 36 Months (4 Children Max)
The swim instructor works one-on-one with each child following the same structure and emphasis on water survival as the Swimboree kids and baby swimming class. While the child is in the water, parents sit on the pool deck and actively participate in their child’s swimming lesson. Students must meet Swimboree goals in order to enroll in Seahorse.

A gentle water acclimation class for ages 3 and up designed to provide a positive environment to experience the water for the first time and build skills that will be used for the duration of the program. Is your child passionate about swimming? In Shark 2 swimming class, students are prepared for future swim team participation with attention on drills, starts and turns, individual medleys, and increasing speed and stamina in the water.
Personalized attention focused on the areas that each student needs the most. Instructors work with each student to create a program based around safety and skill depending on each individual’s needs. Available at select locations.
Swimming lessons are modified from our core program on a case-by-case basis to support children with special abilities. Bottom line: we focus on what they can do instead of what they can not. The swim instructor will work one-on-one with each student to acclimate the student to the water with sensory play activities while working on an introduction to skills that will be used in the next level(s). While the student is in the water, parents are encouraged to be on the deck and participating if that is what is best for the swimmer. Ratio is 1:1. Available at select locations.
The Barracudas are the superstars of our swimming program!
Coached by experienced instructors, students improve their individual swimming technique. Swimming regularly to further increase distance, stamina and speed, this fun league develops healthy competition and team-building. Available at select locations. Contact the pools in your area to learn more.
