at LA Fitness - Chandler - Dobson and Warner
Our unique program is taught inside a year-round heated pool and offers a variety of small group lessons to suit the littlest of beginners to advanced swimmers and adults. Plus, you will be working with some of the best and highly trained instructors in the area! The pool area features changing tents, a bathroom, and shower stalls to meet your needs.
Our pool is located within the LA Fitness on the NW corner of Dobson and Warner. Membership to the gym is not required to enroll in swimming lessons. Please note that we do not offer drop-in lessons or drop-in swimming memberships.
You can enter the pool through the door located directly to the right of the front desk. It is marked as an Emergency Exit but is ok to be used by all swim patrons. Our Deck Ambassador will be there to greet you, check you in, and answer any questions that you may have.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
Enrollment leads to an ongoing membership – we do not have sessions. This membership will be auto-renewed every month.
You remain enrolled with auto-billing until you give 30 days notice.
Start date: Immediately after enrollment, you will receive a welcome email with your start date confirmation and more details.
Tuition: Monthly flat fee that is automatically charged via credit card on the 1st of each month for the entire month.
1st tuition payment today: Tuition is prorated for the remainder of the current month.
Annual membership fee: A one-time annual fee of $40 for the first family member, and $20 for the second (not to exceed $60) in addition to tuition is charged when you sign up.
Lesson ratios 4:1 (except Tadpole and Stroke development levels)
Waitlist: No charge but a credit card is required to hold your slot. We will email and text you when a waitlist opens.
We DO allow makeups for missed lessons as long as they are scheduled at least 4 hours in advance through our app or online portal.
If you are coming for your first lesson, please come at least 10 minutes early for a short introduction.

Our goal is to get you and your entire family SAFE in and around the water as quickly as possible using gentle, fun methods so that you and your kids will learn to LOVE the water. We don’t just teach children how to be safe IN the water, we also teach you and your children water safety to help them avoid falling INTO the water. Our Survival Week events teach children in their STREET-CLOTHES because real-life accidents happen fully clothed and each student needs to learn to how this extra weight feels in the water in a safe environment.
Highly-Trained, Child-Friendly Instructors – Our instructors have the highest number of training hours in the industry. They start with a minimum of 40 hours of training, with additional modules in adult swimming and special abilities. They also have weekly coaching sessions with our Aquatics Director. Our instructors go through Lifeguard and CPR certification. By the end of each instructor’s first year, they will have completed over 100 hours of specialized training.
Everybody is WELCOME! – Our mission is to make sure that EVERY person – regardless of age or ability becomes a safe and happy swimmer. We teach babies from 3 months old, parent/child, toddlers, youth, pre-teens, teens, and adults. We work with students with any special needs (Adapted Aquatics). We’ve even trained triathletes and special forces! We believe it is never too late to learn how to swim or to become a better swimmer.
Small Classes – We are a Premier “boutique-style” school. Classes are small and focused on the individual needs of each student. Our pools are never crowded.
Extraordinary Customer Service – From deck staff to swim instructors to our office staff, we are passionate about what we do! Our staff is there for you – before, during and after lessons! We enjoy getting to know our students and families on a personal level and building relationships that can last for years. If you have questions or concerns, we are ready to help.
Parent Involvement Encouraged! – We want parents on the pool deck and involved in the learning process to help students learn quickly.
Ongoing Enrollment– British Swim School lessons are held year-round and ongoing because CONSISTENCY is key in learning a new skill. British Swim School students graduate and advance INDIVIDUALLY based on 5 clearly defined goals, so you can start at any time. No student is held back or pressured by the progress of the group.
Fast Progression – Because of all of the above, your child will learn to be safe faster – saving you time and money spent on swim lessons and giving you peace of mind sooner rather than later.

Fee Details
Membership Fee: $40 for the first person, $20 for the second person, not to exceed $60 annual fee
We do not use fixed sessions, so you can start your enrollment at any time to fit your schedule. Students can move up to the next level as soon as they are ready!
All classes are 30 minutes long.
All survival classes, including adults, are conducted in small groups (4:1 student/instructor ratio max, Tadpole and Stroke Development classes 6:1 student/instructor ratio max).
All programs are non-transferable, and we require 30 days advance notice to withdraw from any class.
$8-$10 for moveup caps, $8-$10 replacement caps.
Private and Semi-Private lessons are available upon request and subject to availability. Please call our office for more information.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Your card will be automatically debited on the 1st of the month for that month’s lessons.
When you initially enroll, your first month’s tuition will be pro-rated based on the number of classes you will receive. If you enroll on the 25th of the month or later, you will automatically be charged for the following month as well.
Parents/guardians are required to be present on the pool deck during the entire swim lesson. This is NOT a drop-off program.
