  • 2X THE CLASSES = 3X THE RESULTS! Our history of over 35 years shows that students who take swim lessons 2x per week reach their goals 3x faster. When students achieve their goals faster, you save money in the long run.
  • All of our lessons are 30 minutes long and are conducted in small groups (1:4 ratio for all water survival levels, 1:6 ratio for Tadpole/Swimboree and all Stroke Technique levels)
  • Adult group classes are a 3:1 ratio.
  • As payment, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Your card will be debited automatically on the 25th of each month for the next month’s lessons.
  • All cancellations require 30 day advance notice in writing.
  • All programs are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • The first month is paid upon enrollment on a pro-rated basis.
  • Annual Membership Fee: $40 per student or $50 per family (multiple students).

At British Swim School of Greater Philadelphia – South Jersey, our certified instructors are dedicated to teaching life-saving water skills to swimmers of all ages and abilities. From foundational safety to advanced stroke technique, our team provides the personalized support needed to build lasting confidence in the water. 

Our instructors are highly-trained, experienced, and passionate about teaching water safety. They complete our comprehensive British Swim School training and hold national certifications in lifeguarding and first aid to ensure safety is a priority in every lesson.

We’re committed to tracking and celebrating your progress. Each program provides five clear goals and you progress at your own pace. These goals guide our lessons and ensure you get instruction that fits your unique skills and learning style.

You join a small group and receive individual attention and tailored instruction. Water acclimation and water survival programs have a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio, with stroke development programs maintaining a 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio. 

Our step-by-step program focuses on water acclimation, survival skills, and stroke development. The familiar format of each lesson offers comfort and consistency as you progress through our levels, making each transition smooth and seamless. 

Swimmers can start as early as 3 months old—because it’s never too soon to learn water safety. There’s no age limit, so whether you’re learning as a toddler, teenager, or anywhere in between, we have a program to help you become a safer swimmer.
