Conveniently located on Missouri Avenue just north of West Bay Drive, the British Swim School program operating inside of LA Fitness offers a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners through to advanced swimmers, as well as private lessons for children and adults.
Our unique program is taught within this state-of-the-art fitness center’s indoor pool, with a water temperature that exceeds 85 degrees year-round – no more getting sunburned during the summer or shivering during the winter! You will work with warm, friendly, fun-loving instructors, who were specifically hired for their ability to engage effectively with children, and have been thoroughly trained in the British Swim School teaching methodology.
We offer classes and pricing to suit your family’s needs! In addition to tuition, there is an registration fee of $30 for each student, which covers cost of the welcome pack you will receive on your first day. In an effort to encourage faster development through taking multiple lessons per week, and to make lessons more affordable for families with multiple children, your cost per lesson is based on your family’s total number of total lesson slots per week — the more total lessons per week (i.e. more kids or more lessons per kid), the lower the cost per lesson.
For instance, whereas one weekly group lesson for one child costs $139.98/month, two weekly group lessons costs $119.99/month each, whether that’s two children with one weekly lesson each, or one child with two weekly lessons. If your family is enrolled in three or more weekly group lessons, they each cost $99.99/month each. Please note that 3 weekly lessons for one student is a much greater time commitment than it may seem, and so we would only recommend this if they’re not actively involved in any other extra-curriculars.
