Learning to swim is one of the most important things you can do to improve safety around the water. Drowning happens very quickly and is a leading cause of death for children, particularly those aged 1-4. Survival swimming lessons in Indianapolis teach lifesaving techniques and educate swimmers on information to protect against drowning.

Survival Swimming Lessons in Indianapolis for All Ages
Water safety is at the core of everything we do at British Swim School. Following our mantra ‘survival of the littlest,’ our curriculum-based program begins with the foundation of water survival first, followed by learn-to-swim programs. Water safety and survival skills are taught at every class level with consistent reinforcement as children progress to subsequent levels.
Additionally, we prepare swimmers for unexpected incidents outside of our lessons by teaching them to feel comfortable in the water while fully clothed. Why? Most accidents occur when a person is fully-clothed. Therefore, it’s important for swimmers to feel comfortable swimming without goggles and understand the weight of clothing underwater!
