Meet Joe Ross – Swimming Instructor
Meet Joe Ross – Swimming Instructor with Greater Philadelphia & Bucks County
Joe has an extremely impressive resume of experiences, accomplishments, and certifications for such a young man. But, he is most appreciated by our parents and students for his warm, engaging and fun loving personality. Many of our students are quite vocal about how much they look forward to seeing “Mr. Joe” and his patented “exploding fist bump” is being emulated by even our youngest students.
While he is on a fast track to become one of our lead instructors, he also finds the time to be an excellent student preparing for his future college career, a leader for a local Boy Scout troop, and a volunteer firefighter. In his spare time he eats and sleeps. By the way, his ultimate goal is to become either a pediatric ER Physician or Trauma Surgeon. We at the British Swim School have absolutely no doubt that he will attain that goal.
Regarding the credentials mentioned above, Joe is a Basic Life Support Instructor and First Aid Instructor for the American Heart Association. In his own words….”I love empowering people, young and old, to be able to help others.” His American Red Cross certifications include Lifeguard, CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, and Emergency Oxygen and Airway Management. Joe knows from first-hand experience just how important water safety is and he loves making sure that our students become safe and happy swimmers. We are thrilled to have Joe as part of our team.
