Welcome to British Swim School of Southwest Orlando, where Orlando-area kids learn survival of the littlest! As the Orlando area\u2019s trusted swim school, we offer a range of swimming lesson programs for kids (and adults!) of all ages and skill levels. Our swimming lessons for infants and young children will get your child acclimated to the water and teach them vital water safety skills. Later programs help children develop their swimming\u00a0abilities, building from basic swimming strokes to competitive coaching.<\/p>\n

But for kids who lack strong swimming skills, the water can be a stressful \u2014 even dangerous \u2014 place. That\u2019s why it\u2019s important for kids to learn swimming skills and water safety early. And there\u2019s nowhere better to learn both than at British Swim School of Southwest Orlando.<\/p>\n
Our swim school offers more than ten different swimming lesson programs for Orlando-area kids, including water acclimation and water safety lessons for children as young as three months old. All of our classes are conducted in heated pools, and we keep class sizes small to encourage one-on-one learning with our instructors. Classes are held at two convenient locations \u2014 at pools in Windemere and Hunters Creek \u2014 making our swim school easily accessible to families in southwest Orlando and nearby areas like Kissimmee, Osceola, and Celebration.<\/p>\n
Before children can swim, it\u2019s important\u00a0they learn basic water safety skills. At British Swim School of Southwest Orlando, we offer a number of swimming lesson programs designed specifically for infants and toddlers, helping Orlando\u2019s tiniest swimmers\u00a0become\u00a0familiar with water and learn crucial safety skills in a fun and secure setting. These lessons teach young children basic lessons about how to act around\u00a0water, along with how to float safely in the pool.<\/p>\n
For our youngest swimmers, these classes include parent-assisted lessons where mom or dad can get in the water alongside their child. These classes are a great way for parents to learn how to play safe in the water with their children, and offer children a familiar presence as they acclimate themselves to the water. As kids become more familiar with the water, they can switch to instructor-led lessons, and then move up to classes where they develop both basic and advanced swimming skills.<\/p>\n
