Don\u2019t depend on floaties.\u00a0<\/strong>Floaties and inflatable toys are cute and fun to use. But they should never be relied upon as a protective device for your child. Only U.S. Coast Guard-certified life jackets have been approved for safety in the water.<\/p>\n Stay vigilant.\u00a0<\/strong>When you\u2019re watching your kids in the pool, it\u2019s important to stay vigilant. That means no playing games on your phone, texting, or reading a book.
