According to the CDC, \u201cdrowning is a leading cause of unintentional injury death worldwide, and the highest rates are among children. Overall, drowning death rates in the United States have declined in the last decade; however, drowning is the leading cause of injury death among children aged 1\u20134 years.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to keep the dialogue going about water safety and frankly make some noise about it,\u201d said Rita Goldberg, founder and CEO of British Swim School. \u201cThe conversation can never be over. New babies are born every day and water-related risks surround us.\u201d<\/p>\n
