British Swim School’s mission is ensure that every student, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. We believe that the success of our program comes from focusing our attention on the strengths of each person, building a strong rapport with our students and their families, and of course, learning valuable water safety skills through play and fun activities!
Individuals who struggle in other areas of their life find a much more level playing field when it comes being in aquatic environment. For many of our students, they are able to do things in water that they are unable to do on land. If you have concerns about your child’s reaction to new environments or new people, sense of danger, ability to communicate, physical limitations, or perhaps your child has never experienced being in a pool before, you can rest assured knowing that when you enroll your child in the Special Abilities Program through British Swim School, our team of certified instructors and supportive staff will come alongside your family to ensure the highest quality of aquatic instruction that is specific to your child’s needs, abilities, goals, and preferences. Lessons are conducted in a 1:1, small group, or semi-private setting and we are able to offer a variety of times and locations in the West Clay, Carmel, Westfield, and Fishers area.
