Pool Information

Doubletree - Fort Lee

This heated indoor pool (86°+) is located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Lee Hotel. The pool is used exclusively by British Swim School students. There are no hotel guests using the pool at all.

Free parking is available. Please enter the pool directly through the separate pool entrance.

We offer classes and pricing to suit your family's needs. Students who take swim lessons twice per week reach their goals three times faster and need fewer classes overall. Tuition is also *Best Value when two or more members of your immediate family take lessons.

Fee Details

2X THE CLASSES = 3X THE RESULTS! British Swim School recommends 2x per week classes for every student who wants to see fast results and save in the long run, as students who take swim lessons 2x per week reach their goals 3x faster. This means that they also need fewer classes in total, saving money in the long run. Why? You pay a lower tuition (*Best Value*) AND need to pay for less total classes over the course of the program, compared to 1x per week. Reaching to your goal quicker and for less money - Smart!
You are automatically eligible for our *Best Value* price if:
- One student takes lessons 2x per week
- Siblings take at least one lesson per week each
- An adult and a child take at least one lesson per week each
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE: $39 per student / $50 per family. (This fee is waived for “JCC of Bayonne” members and “Xchange at Secaucus Junction” residents - please mention this when you enroll, so we can check and waive the fee.). This membership fee will be included in your initial payment.
FIRST MONTH’S TUITION: The classes of the first calendar month are paid upon enrollment on a prorated basis – you pay for a prorated monthly flat fee from your desired start date until the end of this month. You can start as early as today!

After this initial payment, We will post your upcoming month tuition on the 22nd of the current month for the next upcoming month tuition. On the 25th of each month, your card will automatically be charged for the following upcoming month’s tuition based on the monthly flat fee.
RISK-FREE GUARANTEE! We do not offer trial classes. We know from our 35+ years of experience that you cannot judge the quality of a swim program in just one lesson, but we offer a Risk-Free Guarantee. If you enroll, take two consecutive classes and are not satisfied, we will refund you all tuition fees that you pre-paid, including the fees for the two lessons you have already taken. Please note: You have to take two lessons in the water with us for this, we will not provide refunds if you leave after just one class, as we want your child to get the chance to get acclimated, which rarely happens in just one class.
All classes are 30-minutes long.
All classes, including adults, are conducted in small groups (up to 4:1 student/instructor ratio max, Tadpole and Stroke Development classes up to 6:1 student/instructor ratio max).
We allow Make-Up lessons for missed classes
For the following month’s tuition, the amount is a monthly flat fee whether there are 4 or 5 classes in that month.
As payment we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Amex. No cash or check payments.

I recommend the British Swim School for swimming lessons at any age!

My five year old son went from not even being able to float to becoming a pool shark in a matter of months! I am very happy with his instructors. I agree that to see results kids need to have at least two swimming lessons per week. It is a slow process for some kids - my son was like that at the beginning, but then one day it just clicked for him and he progressed so fast!
