At British Swim School Greater Toronto, families in the Mississauga area will find over ten different classes for swimmers of different ages and skill levels. Our classes include water acclimation and safety classes for infants and toddlers, basic swimming lessons that teach core skills and strokes to young swimmers, and advanced swimming lessons that refine student\u2019s skills and technique. Our most advanced students move on to the Barracudas as part of our Swim Team program, a competitive coaching program that gives students the close instruction they need to thrive in the pool.<\/p>\n
Our swim school is conducted in two Mississauga locations, both at indoor heated pools. Our two locations make our lessons easily accessible to families from Mississauga, Brampton, Lakeview, Churchville, Meadowvale, and other surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
Water can be a lot of fun \u2014 but for kids without developed water safety skills, it can be\u00a0dangerous. Learning water survival techniques can be life-saving for kids of all ages, especially young children who are vulnerable to accidents at the pool or the beach.<\/p>\n
Our swim school instructors work with children from the Mississauga area who are as young as three months old to build these safety skills. Our parent-assisted Tadpole and Swimboree classes allow infants to acclimate themselves to the water with mom or dad right next to them. In our classes for infant and toddler swimmers, kids overcome their fears of the water and learn water survival skills like back floating. This technique teaches kids how to float with their mouth above the water line, an important skill for young children.<\/p>\n
