Each month, we focus on a franchisee of British Swim School. With nearly 90 pools nationwide, there are plenty of stories to share from the sea of talent we have working with us.
Cassie Prochilo, located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, has been a franchise owner for less than a year. However, she has been part of the BSS family for many years!
We asked Cassie Prochilo these five questions:
1. Why did you become a franchise business owner?
I have always known I wanted to make a difference in the world, it just seemed like a good fit for me. It combined both my love of swimming and my passion for working with children. It was a dreamed realized to own my own business.
2. What is your history with swimming?
I can’t remember a time in my life where I was not in the water or on swim team. I started swim team at the age of 8, and continued to swim though high school and part of college. Eleven years ago I saw a job posting for British Swim School, I applied but thought I would not get the job due to being so young. From the moment I started at the British Swim School I knew this was the place for me. From teaching to managing to finally owning my own I have no doubt water has not played a big part in my past and my future.
3. What is one goal for 2016?
To open two more sites and to reach 1,000 enrollments!
4. What is your favorite get-swimming song?
Beyoncé- Flawless or anything Godsmack
5. What is one thing we’d be surprised to learn about you?
That I am actually shy
