British Swim School Flatirons is a locally owned and operated swim school that incorporates water safety and survival skills into every lesson. Our swim lessons are available to kids and adults in Serving the communities of Broomfield, Westminster, Arvada, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie, Thornton, Denver, Federal Heights, Berkley, Northglenn, University Hill, North Boulder, Whittier, Arapahoe Ridge, Flatirons &amp; Boulder &amp; the surrounding communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our class levels are based on a combination of age and ability, and students automatically advance as they master the goals of each level. Interested, but not sure which level to choose? Here\u2019s a brief overview of our program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Swimming lessons for infants and toddlers ages 3-36 months with parent assistance:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tadpole<\/strong>\u00a0is a water acclimation class that introduces the pool in a gentle, fun atmosphere. Goals include comfort in the swim ring, full submersion, and an assisted back float.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swimboree<\/strong>\u00a0introduces water survival. Goals include being able to fully submerge and perform torpedo rollovers and back floats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swimming lessons for toddlers ages 18-36 months:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seahorse<\/strong>\u00a0continues water survival skills. Goals include back floating, underwater rollover and float, and push from wall + roll over.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swimming lessons for kids 3 and up:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Starfish<\/strong>\u00a0helps kids acclimate to the water and build confidence. Goals include a supported back float, full submersion, and independence in the swim ring.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minnow<\/strong>\u00a0is a beginner water survival class. Goals include an elementary backstroke and safe entry and exit with mobility using the wall.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turtle 1<\/strong>\u00a0introduces propulsion skills for survival. Goals include side breathing and swimming 10 yards of elementary backstroke and freestyle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turtle 2<\/strong>\u00a0concentrates on correct arm, leg, and breathing coordination. Goals include treading water, butterfly kicks, and swimming backstroke and freestyle for 20 yards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shark 1<\/strong>\u00a0teaches advanced stroke skills. Goals include swimming freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly for 25 yards each.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shark 2<\/strong>\u00a0builds speed and stamina in the water. Goals include swimming 50 yards in all four strokes and demonstrating starts and turns for each of the four strokes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Enroll in Swim Lessons at British Swim School Flatirons<\/h2>\n<p>No matter which level your child enrolls in, they\u2019ll have a blast!
