Young kids need to learn water safety and swim survival skills, period.

British Swim School is bringing their parent trusted and kid loved water safety-first swim lessons to the East Valley.

KEEPING YOUR KIDS SAFE

Drowning is the leading cause of death among children ages 1 – 4. Red Cross survey finds that more than half of all Americans (54 percent) either can’t swim or don’t have all of the basic swimming skills.

British Swim School’s mission is to help prevent these tragic deaths with a two-step curriculum that teaches children and adults water safety survival skills first and swimming skill development second.

Research shows that participation in formal swim programs such as British Swim School can reduce the risk of drowning by 88 percent among children who are most at risk for deaths caused by drowning.

NOW ACCEPTING NEW ENROLLMENTS

At British Swim School, we’ve been trusted by families for over 37 years, thanks to our…

  • Individualistic approach – We get to know our students and families on a personal level, enjoying relationships that can last for years.
  • Highly-Trained, Child-Friendly Instructors – We don’t just select our instructors based on their skills and professional experience. We also look for character and a caring, fun personality, so that learning is not just safe, but fun, for your child.
  • Year Round, Ongoing Enrollment – You don’t have to wait for the school term to start before you enroll. We welcome children and families at any time! You don’t have to ‘slot in’ with an existing class.
  • Small Classes – We keep our classes small so that your child gets the individual attention that he or she needs and deserves.
  • All Ages – All-Inclusive – We teach babies from as young as 3 months old, right up to adults. We also teach children and adults with special needs. Everyone deserves to have fun in the water, learn how to swim, and learn survival techniques that will serve them their entire life.

Our experience was wonderful

I am so pleased with the results from our swim lessons, and the amazing team at British Swim Schools. Their coaches are amazing, and they were so wonderful with our kids. I am thankful that they were so patient with each of our kids and met them where they were at in terms of level and swim skill. Read More

Our Experience in a Blog Post

Every parent knows swimming can be a huge safety concern when it comes to children. It only takes a few seconds of not paying attention for things to take a turn for the worse. If your child finds themselves falling into a body of water do they know what to do? Read More

One of the best places to have your kids learn.

I have seen kids learn to float and swim in a matter of weeks and they love to come back. They learn to love the water by singing songs and having fun while learning an important survival skill. Being an instructor there I’ve seen kids go from crying just being near the pool deck to never wanting to leave the water. All the instructors have extensive training and it’s always being refreshed so the instructors are always the best they can be and the aquatics director has 40 years of experience teaching kids how to swim. If you want results fast and you want your kids or yourself to have fun give them a call or message me and I’ll put you in touch with the owner. The team is like a family and the moment you start classes with BSS you become a part of that family as well. It’s never to early or to late to enjoy the water.

I highly recommend this swim school!

My wife and I brought our 2 boys to this class. It was a rough start for them as they did not want to go in the water. In a couple of weeks they were able to overcome their fear and is now performing above our expectations. This system really works. I highly recommend this to anyone with kids who wants to learn how to swim for survival and just fir the fun of it. My 2 sons love their instructor which helps a out a lot. Thank you to the team for being patient with my kids and always encouraging them to learn. They also have an app which makes it easier for you to see any updates regarding swim class schedule changes. I highly recommend this swim school!

Can’t say enough about how good they are.

The instructors were incredibly patient with me and my growth as an adult swimmer. I could swim to save my life, but did so in such a poor manner. They took the time to help me break down my strokes and create a strategy to improve on my efficiency so that I can achieve my goal of competing in triathlons. Love this place and can’t say enough about how good they are.

Caring and fun.

BSS is staffed with the most caring and fun individuals i have met to date. Not only are they great with kids and adults they make learning fun to the point we’re kids are sad to leave for the day and want to come back it’s amazing to see and experience.
