Have you ever shown up to the pool and realized you\u2019ve forgotten something? We\u2019ve put together a brief list of items that can be your Swim Team Toolbox \u2013 but you don\u2019t even have to be on the Swim Team to use it. In fact, a perfect time to use this would be our upcoming Swim Meets.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, October 13 we are competing against other local British Swim School franchisees. We rocked the last one, so come on out and let\u2019s show \u2018em how awesome we are. If you can\u2019t make that one, or perhaps you are a Turtle level, we have our own meet two weeks later on Saturday, October 27.<\/p>\n<p>Before showing up, this is what we recommend for your Swim Team Toolbox:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 pairs of goggles in case one breaks<\/li>\n<li>Swim cap<\/li>\n<li>Hair tie for longer hair<\/li>\n<li>Towel<\/li>\n<li>Sweatshirt to keep warm while waiting for your event (or an extra towel works too)<\/li>\n<li>Water bottle<\/li>\n<li>Flip-flops for the shower (we request that you stay bare-foot on the pool deck)<\/li>\n<li>Shampoo\/conditioner (make sure to rinse off that chlorine)<\/li>\n<li>A mess-free snack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-351 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/britishswimschool.com\/dupage\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/89\/2021\/02\/Two-girls-treading-water-with-goggles-on.jpg\"  width=\"1037\" height=\"490\"><\/p>\n<p>And, most importantly, don\u2019t forget mom and dad!<\/p>\n<p>See you at the pool.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey swimmers!
