Organization Witnessed Tremendous Growth over the Last Year;
Looking Towards 2016 with Great Enthusiasm
With another year coming to a close, British Swim School recently hosted its annual franchisee conference, this time in Clearwater, Florida. With the white sands and crystal blue water outside, the British Swim School team was hard at work inside, focusing on customer service, safety, technology, marketing and much more.
Since November 2014, British Swim School has multiplied in size, growing from 20 to 42 territories, 6 to 14 states, and 48 to 84 operating pools. Also indicative of phenomenal momentum, the organization will have taught more than 376,000 swimming lessons in 2015, averaging approximately 42 lessons every hour.
The conference hosted a powerhouse line-up of speakers, including Frank Sahlein, founder/CEO of 3rd Level Consulting, who provided insights on growing a successful business model; Nancy Friedman, the Telephone Doctor, shared her “Golden Nuggets” on outstanding customer service strategies; Jeff Metzger conducted a leadership bootcamp; Andy Broido lead two modules on Aquatics Day; and Myrtha Pools & the CES team presented some forward-thinking models for the swim schools.
“We have such an awesome team of passionate, driven and caring franchisees who are committed to saving lives and making an impact around the country,” said Rita Goldberg, founder and CEO of British Swim School. “It was great fun seeing them all together, exchanging ideas and looking to grow and improve.”
The event wasn’t complete until it wrapped with Rita’s birthday party aboard a yacht, complete with dinner, dancing, cocktails, a surprise guest (her son), awards and a tribute video.
